Henry and SmokeWagon
I got to my indoor range today, shooting .357 handloads in both the revolver (25 ft.) and the Henry Big Boy (75'). I shoot standing, off hand. I had a fun hour of shooting and it's not all that bad; it's just not great shooting. I know I have work to do.
There are 35 shots for each gun. I shot 5 rounds at a time, alternating between the two guns.

good job ..... if aimed center mass, right behind the front leg, for a heart shot on a deer, you'd have brought home meat for the cooler with most every shot .... not an easy thing when firing 70 rounds off hand

One shot, one kill. Can't do any better than that.JEBar wrote:good job ..... if aimed center mass, right behind the front leg, for a heart shot on a deer, you'd have brought home meat for the cooler with most every shot .... not an easy thing when firing 70 rounds off hand

Well holy smokes-wagon! The next time the Clantons are a problem meet me at the OK Corral and we'll take care of them! That's some nice shootin' at 75 yds off hand. Well done!

Yeah. It would have been a whole lot more satisfying if I were actually shooting at 75 yards and not 75 feet.RanchRoper wrote:That's some nice shootin' at 75 yds off hand.

Seventy-five yards is still 25 yards. I shoot a lot offhand and you did good. Especially considering you made 35 shots.
