Post by ESquared » Tue Jan 29, 2019 3:48 pm

Just doing Tom a quick upload of his testing out of a couple of different 45 Colt Reloads. I'll let him fill in the details, mainly because I don't know them...

This rifle was sweet right out of the box. The 8.0gr Unique is the load I'll be staying with and those Missouri 250gr LRNFP bullets. Could not be happier. Stock iron sight, off hand at 25 yards. Sight adjustment when I get to an outdoor range.
No plans for a scope, but, we shall see. This one and my BB brass .357 are soooo much fun to shoot. Thank you Evan for the picture posting. To the loading bench I go!

Nice shooting! 8 gr. of Unique is a well respected load with a 250 gr. bullet in .45 Colt.
Were those the Hi-Tek coated bullets? Those work excellent in my .44 Carbine and I just ordered another 500.

Thanks forty'. No, they are the regular 250 RNFP. 12 Brinell. Work fantastic. May try the Hi-Tek variety next tho.
Yeah, that 8.0gr Unique seemed to really work well. May try 8.2-8.5, but, will probably stay at 8.0. Just works.
We'll see. Winter projects, you know.[Any excuse!]
