Lookie what came in today ...

Post by Dahliathemeh » Fri Sep 07, 2018 6:56 pm

So after close to a year of issues with my all weather, broken hearted my rifle had to get sent back for the 3rd time. This time Henry sent me a brand new just off the line all weather! Her birthday is 9-5 and she came home today 9-7! I'm chomping the bit to get to the range!!!!
On a side note, the new model came with a fiber optic site, I damn near lost my mind! This rifle was great looking before, now it's perfection!!

I'm glad you stuck with it, Dahlia! Henry Repeating Arms means what it says. They sent me a new rifle, too, after too many issues with the defective one. Congratulations. I look forward to your first range report. Thanks for the photos and for telling us how you're a satisfied Henry owner.

Is that a full, fiber optic rod through the blade out to the rear or just a green dot on the front?

Rangeroper: Your picture actually made me jump a little, awesome!
Mistered: It is a fiber optic sight wrapped in brass. However it does not go all the way through the front sight.
BigAl52: I adore fiber optic sights! I tried to put one on my Maverick, but that was a no go. So to see it on this new rifle is just awesomsauce!!
When my better half came in and seen it he really liked the new rifle! We noticed some changes on it but without the old one here it's hard to put a finger on them, this rifle feels new and improved.
On a side note I'm heading out tomorrow to pick up my Marlin 22 lever action rifle!! I might get to start this year hunting squirrel and rabbit.
I never take myself seriously....

Yup, I echo others' comments that Henry most always comes through with stellar CS.
Congrats on the new AW weather Henry...it is a beauty!

I'm also certain that after you spend some range time with the AW, it will "restore the part of the mind, which was lost!"
Enjoy and be safe.

Congrats! Yes, the new sight is nice. Hopefully, you will be able to shoot lots of lead without it freezing now. Happy shooting!

Correction!! I picked up our Marlin, it's a 22 and super simple. It's a model 60, it's tube fed so automatically I'm thinking lever action. That's how much I paid attention! So I have 2 to shoot this week!
