Well, I finally got to the range, with a Stevens 334 in 308 that I picked up, a few months ago. My wife bought my a scope, a couple on Christmases ago, which I did not have a rifle that I wanted to put it on. I had been thinking about a cheap bolt-action rifle in 308. I wanted a wooden stock. So, I bought a Stevens to put the scope on.
Overall, I like the rifle and scope. Initially, the rounds seem to chamber a little rough. After smoothing the mouth of the plastic magazine some, the rounds chambered smoothly.
I started at the 25 yards range, moved to the 50 yards range and ended at the 100 yards range. So far, I am happy with the results. Yet, I think that I will use a different target and go the 200 yards range.
Below are a couple of targets. Because a club member left me a used target at the 50 yards range to use, I did not keep the target.
I think the known issues are taken care of. If you have any issues or know of another member who is having issues, PM daytime dave. As we head towards the holidays, hunt with your Henry.

What scope is on it? The mount seems a tad high.

It is a CVLife: https://www.amazon.com/CVLIFE-3-9x40-Op ... T3OFC?th=1. I have since put a lower set of rings on it. Yet, I have not made it to the range yet:
