Hate those Saturday afternoon trouble calls....
It means I have to get all suited up and go fix some trouble down at the ranch. Well gave ol' Black Bart a bad day when I got there with my 44-40 shootin' irons and saved the Mules Leg 45-70 for a couple fun shots to compare on an old expired fire extinguisher. The 44-40 and 45-70 tied for damage results on that unit! One thing I did learn was to remember to bring my special 44-40 loads for the derringer. I forgot and shot one of my standard 44-40 200 gr. rifle loads in it and watched it dance right out of my hand with a twirl!
Or maybe my one hand grip wasn't that great but won't do that mistake again! Great afternoon for shooting though!

Sounds like fun, well, all except the derringer experience.
Hard to believe that there wasn't that much difference in the two on the fire extinguisher.

Forty,I like your 'Cuda picture and the diecast 'Cuda model. I also liked your shooting and your choice of firearms for the day.

Yep I needed to get down to the range and just shoot since I was there the day before doing nothing but cutting the 8 inch grass!
Now we have a lot of rain moving in this week....good for the creek I guess!

Yes that Cuda display....The picture is of the 1970 Hemicuda my brother owned until he passed back this January. That is how is looked in 1972 after all the Race Hemi goodies were installed and how we cruised the streets in those days. The diecast I built to look exactly like it and it took 3 cars to build it from which I had. His son owns the car now and it is sitting at a well known Mopar resto shop waiting for decisions to be made.bandit1250 wrote: ↑Mon May 12, 2025 6:08 amForty,I like your 'Cuda picture and the diecast 'Cuda model.
