Happy Halloween from the Range

Post by ace73 » Mon Oct 31, 2016 12:50 pm

Received my Lyman Globe front sight! I was all set with a small file ready to install and to my surprise, it slides in and out without any help!
A little google search showed others having the same problem. I have an old feeler gage set at work that I'll use as a shim. In the mean time,
I put some electrical tape under it and tapped it in place. It works for now and I don't want to wait to try it out! I also got some Lee shaver inserts.

No warm up this time....straight to 25 yds using Norma Tac 22. I really think I'm going to like this!
Shots were sitting, elbows on the bench.

Buy some black fingernail polish and use it as glue to keep the sight in the dove.
