A neighbor had his 15 year old grandson visiting from Florida for the week so along with his other grand dad I invited them down to the range.
The boy loves guns but doesn't get to shoot at home so we made his day with a variety of .22 rifles and other handguns.
I brought along my Henry .45 Colt carbine and a same six shooter for some fun and the young fella took right to it hitting the gong from 40 yds. with the revolver. He had never shot a .45 before! He also did very well with his grand dad's Ruger 22 mag bolt action rifle knocking off the steel bottles on the Saloon target.
Anyway a great day and fun at the range today!
Guess who just had a birthday? We did. Henry Rifle Forums has made it to the 10 year mark. Thank you to all members, I'm glad you are here!

Great gift... He will be the envy of all his friends.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Yep he will have a bunch of fun memories to fly back home with tomorrow. He also loves cars so we all let him enjoy some hot muscle car fun over the past week. Think he got to learn how to drive a manual trans for the first time yesterday with his grandad's VW bug too!
He did enjoy the ride in my 85 Mustang the other evening!
