Range time! 3 different targets today. No wind which is unusual.
Used up my American Eagle JSP at 50 yds off hand. So-so.
Shot 50 yds rapid fire off hand Winchester 250 gr. Low but not bad for Rifleman style!
Shot the rest at 100 yds off hand standing. Set sight to top notch but shot high. Last time I shot 100 yds it was breezy but no drop at all today it seemed. Range all to myself again.

As always, nice shooting RR!

As good as you shoot offhand, I bet if you were to bench rest that Henry you would simply wipe out that center bullseye.

Good shooting RR.
I would not want you shooting at me. If I'd run I'd only die tired.

As you still use the stock Henry buckhorn rear sight, your shooting off hand, rapid-fire is excellent.
Curious...I count 14 rounds in the target. How many seconds did it take you to put them there?

Haha...had 4 left so I put them on there fast too. Now a H011 original would let me do them all without reloading...might have to trade up!
As for speed? Dunno, I'm sure I'd look like molasses in winter to TGR but the barrel heats up pretty good! No load or eject issues. Just have to work the lever with authority. Fun though!

Glad you had fun shooting rapid-fire. I like that quick action work on my SGC, too.

Agreed, RR. It does sound like it's time that you do "trade up" as you have before mentioned the H011. ;) It is an extraordinary-looking rifle, and has great history behind it. And I'd bet you would really enjoy shooting the 24-1/2" barrel using the ladder rear sight.

That sight would open up some possibilities "out on the range," wouldn't it?!? :)

I'll have to work on my financial adviser (wife) for that one....I'd love to own one, but the darn thing is almost $3000 by the time it gets to my door here in Canada. Even the Cimarron Uberti is about $2000. Ouch!

Also, how much whollup does a 44.40 pack? More or less than a .45 Colt?
