Silhouette practice

Post by leverjc » Wed Jun 03, 2020 2:28 pm

Went to the range yesterday to get in some live fire practice for an upcoming shoot. Did well with my Marlin 336 and the pioneer but my BBS just wasn't up to the task. Most of the practice I do is at the 50yd range shooting an array of 2.5x4" white targets off hand. With the 336 and the Pioneer I was shooting almost 75%, with the 357 BBS it was 30%. I took it to the bench and shot 3 different loads and the best 5 shot group I could get with the
BBS was 2" and the worst is over 5".

I don't think I will be shooting pistol Caliber in the next match as it will be with Henry.
