You guys were having a ball out there! Fun and good shooting. forty, your chrony read-outs mirror mine with the 180/357 load from the Henry. Good velocity for a coated cast bullet and accurate as heck. Like Al said, I 'm staying with that one. Looks like Tues or Wed for my range day.

20 inch Henry here! Now sometimes with pistol caliber rifles you might reach a point in barrel length where you level out in bullet speed,depending on powder of course.

But after some of the long distance shooters can use one to reach steel targets up to 600+yds. not so much.
But I'm sure it has a lot do with powders.
