First impression was you will know it when a round goes off but it doesn't cause pain,bust your knuckle, or smack the palm of your shooting hand.
Gun functioned fine with a variety of standard Colt loads which were 230-255 gr. bullets in plain hard cast,coated,plated and a few FMJ.
No heavy barrel leading with the plain cast bullets.

Did a couple of quick 5 shot point and shoot from 12 ft. with two hand hold as in a sudden self defense situation....
very pleased with that grouping shooting my 230 gr. Hammerhead loads!

Overall it is a great easy to pack or conceal .45 Colt shooter which WILL get the job done but maybe not most
comfortable as an all afternoon target gun.
I shot 50 rds. thru it this mid morning.
