The other day i was at the range with my SGR/Scope and I was all over the place. Definitely me. I just could not relax and I was so frustrated that I was not going to finish the session when for some reason I remembered a piece of advice from NCG about a different way to hold and pull the trigger. It was to remove your right thumb, tuck it behind the trigger guard , hold and squeeze. After a few shots to get use to the feel, I was hitting the 10 spot on a regular basis. It seem to take some tension from the right arm and it just felt right. I believe she said a lot of competition shooters use that technique and I can see why. Not going back to the old way. There's so much more to good trigger technique the squeeze, don't pull. Good point on on muscle tension in your arm. I actually practice relaxing the correct arm and hand muscles during my dry fire workouts. It really is the little things.
