Scope rail for the new Steel receivers

Post by Cofisher » Sun May 15, 2016 10:18 pm

Andy, ya gotta help me here. I love the scope/peep rail for the larger rifles. With a quick disconnect, we can move from a scope sight to the 'very' desirable skinner peep sight. Get the picture here? I know you can do it, it just requires some retooling...yeah, I know. Will it pay? Bet yur ass it will! There are a lot of us old geezers needing the benefit of the optics. Love the interest you have in this. Keep up the good work.

Jim

Not yet, SH. I know he is thinking about it. I keep looking at the differences on the receivers and hoping it is just a small adjustment. But, I am no machinist. And...I am a patient man when it comes to getting just the right answer.

I must admit I don't know very much about Henry centerfire rifles. I have seventeen Henrys but they are all rimfire.

Still thinking there is a way to use a scope for the 100 yard shots, and yet have a way to take advantage of the skinner peep for the closer stuff. I don't have the range time to know exactly how that is going to work. It will come together, I have faith.

Ordered the Skinner Lo Pro today. Still waiting on some type of rail that works in conjunction with the peep. Come on Andy, we know you can do it...lol. The steel Henry has not yet been graced with a scope/peep type mount. PATIENCE!......
