Western North Carolina here

Post by shatfield56 » Sat Oct 03, 2020 9:48 pm

Hello to all. The name is Steve from rural western nc. I just put a 44 steel carbine on layaway. Back in the mid seventies I owned a Winchester model 94 30-30. Not quite sure why I sold it, but, after that many years I'm going to get another lever rifle. I was impressed with the reported quality and reputation of Henry and the warranty didn't hurt either. I have handled a few at stores but not fired one yet. Looking forward to the journey.

Steve

JE it won't be a hunter. I'm not planning to load my own right now. I'll pick it up in November. I'm a tad further west than Sylva, in Murphy.

I used to coach at Sylva-Webster HS and made many a drive through the gorge to Robinsville, Murphy and all of those town west of Sylva .... we are retired and travel in the summer and winter in our camper .... our Henry 44 Mag is the rifle that is always taken with us .... its a solid shooter that is accurate and fun to fire
