New member from Arizona here! Thank you to everyone for being so nice. Great posts on the forum and very helpful people here.

I make a lot of reproduction 1750's to 1890's items such as gun accessories, gun cases, knives/sheaths, and museum quality Plains Indian/Apache items (but all usable, not just for show). I collect a lot of militaria and modern weapons but find myself more interested in the above time period. Was big into belt fed weapons, etc but like creating unique accessories for the items of the above time period.

Hey Ray! Welcome from Nebraska. Just saw your Colt case post. Nice work. Glad you joined in. Peace.

Welcome, and at risk of repeating words of others-nice work on that shipping crate!

Thank you! If I can get some time and an ideal wood box, I'm going to make a different shipping crate for my son's Navy Arm Model 1873. I saw one from the Winchester factory and hope to do a good representation.
