Hi Everyone!

My name is Ben, I have wanted to get a Rifle for many years, had my licence for 5 years now but only just picked up my first firearm today. A Henry H001 .22 Lever action $585AUD. It is beautiful! couldn't be more excited, I just want to take this thing to the range and sight the new scope in. Unlucky for me Its the school holidays and my wife is out of the country for 3 weeks so I have my 2 sons with me, a 1 year old and a 7 year old. Hopefully I will be able to drop them off at their grandparents for a day so I can get to the range.

Im 29 years old living in Brisbane Australia. Work as a Warehouse Manager. Other hobbys include Cycling, Video games, Table top Games, Miniature painting, cooking.

Look forward to getting to know some of you.

Welcome to the site and congratulations on your new Henry rifle. I have heard a lot of different versions about Australian gun laws. How difficult is it to purchase a rifle or shotgun there? Are you allowed to own a handgun?

G'Day mate!....well somebody had to say it! Welcome from Alberta Canada. Over in British Columbia we get lots of Australians working the ski resorts. Seems to be where they like to hang out. Glad to have you on the forum.
