I lived several years in OR during the late nineties. Where are you at in central OR?
I worked and lived in McMinnville. Really enjoyed traveling the state and all the beautiful country we saw there.

Hey PT7 - I live between Sunriver and LaPine - and I have a friend who recently moved from Oregon to Lebanon, MO.

For my work, I had traveled in your neck of the woods several times -- training seminars were held in Bend. As I first wrote, always enjoyed traveling in that state seeing the beauty of the countryside. And back then my wife and I did quite a bit of tent camping at some of the beautiful and well-maintained campgrounds in the state -- along the scenic river highway near Portland (Multnomah Falls area), an ocean-front site in Bandon, and especially liked camping at Detroit Lake. Not least, many outings to different western locations (beaches/promontories) along the Pacific, and of course, checked out many lighthouses.
I guess I could go on and on and on.....good memories of our years there. We sure enjoyed living in that state.
