New 72 year old Henry owner

Post by Dirko » Mon May 25, 2020 4:01 pm

:D I am a new Henry owner. I bought my first rifle this month. I have a H004. Golden Boy with a Vortex scope. Eye sight is not what it used to be! Not a hunter, but love to go to the range. This is a sweet rifle and I love it! My wife of over 51 years passed a year ago. She didn't want weapons in the house and I respected that. Now it's just me and the cat. I'm from Davenport Iowa by the way retired from Alcoa (Arconic).

Welcome to the forum from CT, Dirko. Congratulations on your new Henry and you have my deepest sympathy for the loss of your wife. My darling wife of 44 years passed away nearly three years ago and I, too, grieve alone in our home with a cat. We're both still working it out. I hope you're getting along, too.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
