Welcome from Nebraska. I’ve shot Jim’s 45-70. Impressive

Re: Greetings from California
I have three (thanks for asking). I just bought an Enfield 650 after testing and writing about one in Mexico. That story is here:

I have a Zongshen RX3 that I rode across China. And I have a TT250 that I bop around the neighborhood on. More info on all of these and the trips I've done can be found by clicking signature link below.

Clicked on the "ExhaustNotes.us" site.Yeah, I'd say you're into motorcycles! Nice adventures you've had there. Especially in the desert. Did that in the '70's. Carry on!

Re: Greetings from California
Thanks for asking. I have three or four blogs posted on my new Henry .45 70 already, and if you click on this one, it has links to the earlier ones:
http://exhaustnotes.us/blog/index.php/2 ... -with-dan/
I am a little embarrassed to admit that I haven't fired it yet, as the CV19 measures were just going into effect a couple of days before I picked it up at my FFL. I have a bunch of different .45 70 test loads ready to go and I am hoping to get to the range with it sometime this week or next. I will post a blog on the results as soon as I do. I have high hopes for this rifle. It really is a beautiful firearm.
