Hello from North central Pa

What used to be the northern white ash forests of northern PA. Another gift from our Chinese folks as they gifted us with the emerald ash borer and now all of the beautiful ash trees are gone. Only have one Henry, a Big Boy, in 44 mag. Have had it for several years. Mine is of the age where it takes the cantilever scope mount that Henry sold a few years back. Beautiful rifle and beautiful set up. Enjoy lever actions, Savage, Marlin and of course my Henry.

Welcome from Nebraska. Ditto to Vaquero. It sounds like an unusual, to us, rig. Glad you joined us. Enjoy that Henry!

I can get a couple of photos and post them here. It is a neat item and with Henry's customer service which has always been superb, it was an easy thing to come up with, at least back them. If I remember correctly, Henry steered me to it and I bought it direct from them.

Well I tried to post a photo but attaching a photo here has me as stumped as trying to do it on the 24 Hour Campfire. Seems beyond my skill set.

Yup, that is actually how I got mine. Called Henry and found out that this thing was available. Bought it directly from them.

Canti lever mount attempt. Now I tried to pull the photo directly from my computer. Why would it want a uniform resource locator.

This is what I get. Don't know what that means. " It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct."

The image should be selected from a folder on your computer and uploaded to the server. A URL should not be part of that process.
I'd like to help. Can you explain the steps you are taking when you try to post a picture?
