New Guy from Tennessee
Hello All,
Just got my first Henry, and first lever action. It is a beautiful All Weather .30-30! I love it!
Will be asking far more questions than I answer for some time I think. Looking to learn as much as I can about these fascinating weapons, and working on customizing this one, and choosing my next one....

Re: New Guy from Tennessee
Spent some time in Millington, first as a young Marine attending school for Avionics in the late 70s. Back again in the 80s as a Staff NCO to teach the young Marines and Sailors, and ride the single tracks through the National Forest on my Trek mountain bike.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Not sure. Love my 30-30 All Weather and would like to have maybe .357 and .45-70’s to match. But would also love a case color version, and a .22 Small Game Gun, and a .410 lever action, and a .308 Long Ranger, and an AR-7.....

Re: New Guy from Tennessee
Have a .22 Small Game Carbine and I really like it. Also attracted to the .357 especially the case color hardened receiver and the AR-7 as well. A lot of good things to choose from. Hope you enjoy the forum.MarvinTMartian wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 7:12 pmNot sure. Love my 30-30 All Weather and would like to have maybe .357 and .45-70’s to match. Welcome to the forum from KC! Great people here, lots of knowledge, no lack of opinions (wink, wink!) and very sharing with all of the above!
Seems like no matter where anyone starts, a 22 SGC and some manner of 357 makes the "Top 3" list. You've got a great start, so join in, ask questions and keep us posted!
