Hello, my wife and daughters totally surprised me with a Big Boy .357 for Christmas. Already been to the range multiple times with my girls. Most recently, my 13yo daughter said “this was the best day ever”. She’s shooting a Savage .22 and can shoot as good as I can. I started at age 5 with a Daisy 1894 BB gun. Nothing feels more natural and intuitive to me than shooting a lever rifle. Had to send it back to Henry for some tweaks. It was returned 6 days later (only six days!) and now it’s perfect. Best warranty experience of my life. Thanks Henry RAC!

Also neat that you're enjoying the hobby experiences with your daughter....nothing better!

Not least, thanks for your work and care for folk as a paramedic. When I had my heart attack 18 years ago, those that served in your job saved my life when they lost me during transport to the hospital. You guys will always have my special appreciation and gratitude.

Another Welcome from KC! Glad you're here and thanks for sharing your Christmas and family story. 357 Henrys are tough to beat - so versatile, fun to shoot and even hunt with (within its guard rails).

Welcome medpilot. I too reside in WNC. First of all, thank you for what you do. I also have a Henry in 357 and love it. Also have a motorcycle. Great area to ride, especially on the BRP. Curious where you are. Feel free to share or PM me if you care to. By the way, I live near a hospital and routinely hear the MAMA chopper. Given your user name, just wonder if you fly as well? I see your signature includes pilot, just wondering if that includes MAMA?

Just an Earthbound paramedic with a pilots license, but I’ve worked along side MAMA many times. We live in Macon county.

Had a friend that flew when I lived on the east coast many years ago. He worked for an aviation insurance company. Had the pleasure many times to go up with him in the Beachcraft Bonanza that he had free access to...lot of fun!!!
BTW...I am in Henderson county.

Welcome Medpilot. Im glad you joined us. What a great gift and you better watch out for that daughter. A woman who likes to shoot will often make a man look pretty sad. My sister is a great shot and can out shoot her brother.
