Hello everyone. New to the forum and proud owner of a Henry 30-30, H009. Just picked it up three days ago. Shot 18 rounds out of it the following day. I’ve really liked lever guns since hunting with a friend when we were teenagers back in the 80’s in the southern Adirondacks. He carried a Winchester 94. Fast forward to about ten years ago when I bought my son a Marlin 336. I’ve been researching the Henry 30-30 for a while now and finally got one. Looking forward to shooting it a lot this year and getting to know as much as I can about this great company.

Welcome from the beautiful Show-Me-State, SD.
The .30-30 is a rock-solid whitetail deer rifle....I've no doubt you'll enjoy it, and it'll earn you a nice harvest next fall.

To easily learn about this great Henry company, just keep your eye on Pres. Anthony Imperato. His leadership has brought his people in providing about the best firearms Customer Service around. And we are the ones who benefit.

Thanks everyone. One tid bit I left out. I forgot that this actually isn’t my first Henry purchased. Probably around the year 2000 I bought a little single shot 22 I believe called a Cricket. My son was 5 and my oldest daughter was 7. It’s a great first gun to teach kids on. Just last week I realized it said Henry Repeating Arms on it. So I guess I own two Henry’s!

Welcome from the TV Oregon, one .30-30 owner to another!
Henry makes a 'Mini-Bolt Youth', that looks a lot like the Keystone Sporting Arms 'Crickett'.

Thanks again everyone for the warm welcomes. Jim I’m about 80 miles east of you about ten miles south of Utica. I see you’re near one of my favorite lakes to fish, Otisco.

I hadn't noticed, but now that you bring it to attention. Yes I see what you mean.
