My name is Jay, and for most of my life I've lived in Oklahoma. I purchased my first Henry in January of this year. It's a large loop .357 carbine. I've always wanted to own a lever gun, and the Henry name has great history and appeal to me.

I've been trying to simplify my life a little bit lately. i got rid of my Glock 27 because I hated the trigger and it was the only .40 I owned. I now carry a .38 +p Smith and Wesson. A .357 Henry just made sense, because it can share ammo with the Smith, and my .357 Colt. I really look forward to carrying the Henry in the woods this fall. I have a friend with coyote issues, and I have another friend who says he can get me into some feral hogs.

I married way up 28 years ago. We have a son in college who wants to be a writer, and he's already a published poet.

I can't dance.

Welcome...I’m a newby myself...my first Henry was the BBSC in .357...killed 3 whitetails with it last season. My 2nd Henry is the same carbine in 41 mag and I’m looking forward with anticipation for the upcoming deer season. These little pistol cartridge carbines are well made, handy, and functionally accurate. Great little rifles for sure...
