Henry Rifle Forums

Ok so I am guilty of about 20 other posts before posting here oops! I am a gun supporter as most here I just got a Henry big boy three or four months ago in 357 mag to go along with my pistol. I bought my father a 22lr Henry and my brother also has a 22 lr Henry. I keep the Henry ar in my shtf bag and hiking backpack.
I also am into handloading I have made about 5,000 rounds in the last three years with a rock chucker and really the main reason I reload is for a hobby when it's cold here in Utah where I am from. I was glad to be introduced to this forum!
Thanks for the friendly/knowledgable replies I have seen from the many great people on this forum I always considered lever gun people some of the best you will ever meet!

Well welcome anyway kinda sorta. I have loading my own ammo on the list of after I retire things to do.

Welcome!! Sort of officially. And I have to agree with you. There's a bit of something different about lever gun owners... just enough so it really matters.

What Big Boy model did you get -- bronze or the newer steel? Since I have the H006M, I'd say you made a good choice going with the .357 Magnum!

I have the "brass" carbine I got a good deal from someone who had never fired it but already purchased it. I paid $599 I was happy for that price, I also had to drive 2 1/2 hrs but my work paid for all my diesel at the time even personal use.

I give free advise, I don't know everything but feel fairly confident on basic handloading.

Welcome Jaker. Reading your intro sounded like I was reading my own. I've got about the same reloading experience and also own a 357 Big Boy. Good to know the forum is attracting such worthy members

Thanks I have spent about 25 weeks working in Pennsylvania around Mansfield and done a little work near montrose as well, beatiful state!!
