Hello from the Slate Belt of PA. I just ordered a Big Boy Steel in 357. By this time next week I'll officially be a Henry rifle owner. I also have an AR-7, but it's one of the Armalite's.

Welcome to both of you from the Show-Me-State. Enjoy your Forum visits.

I'm a former steel BB .357 Magnum owner, and good to see more folk getting that great Henry rifle.
I already know you will enjoy it a lot. Looking forward to rifle pictures, and some range reports!
NM Slim wrote:Hey all,

Just got my first Henry, a steel Big Boy 357. Been wanting a Henry for quite some time now and when things fell into place, i.e., the LGS had one in stock and I got a good deal selling some other firearms, it was finally time. I had a Marlin 336 30-30 (JM stamped) but I'm not a hunter, so, saw no real reason to hold on to her, as historical as it is. Barrel would get awful hot after a couple rounds and accuracy would go to pot. Pricey ammo, too. Anyway, looking forward to heading out to BLM land and slinging lotsa lead.

Stay safe!

Thanks to all of you for welcoming me to the forum. My Big Boy Steel 357 came in today, only 2 days after ordering it. I added it to the "How many..." thread to bring the total to 245. The gun is sweet!! I really like the checkering on the wood. Looking forward to taking it to the range soon ... really soon.
