Greetings from Indiana
Just bought a new Henry Big Boy Steel in 44 magnum. Hoping to get out shooting soon. Wanting to mount a scope and plan to work up some Lead bullet handloads for Indiana Deer Season. I previously owned a Ruger 77/44. Was able to get that one from 6 inch 100 yard groups down to 1.5 inches with handloads. I am hoping this Henry will be more accurate. Sure is a pretty rifle. All the write ups have been really good. Hoping to learn a lot from you guys and gals. Thanks for having me.

Welcome!
So far for me, my best groups from my .44 BB are from using a 240 grain Hornady XTP JHP over 19.6 grains of Alliant 2400 or 19.5 grains of Accurate #9.
I do like the steel version Henry's. Hope you enjoy yours!
