Hi, just a newbie from Illinois. I just picked up a new .357 Henry Big Boy last Saturday. I pretty much read all the threads this past week and look forward to sharing thoughts and ideas with the members. I haven't fired the rifle yet, but I'm looking forward to a range visit fairly soon. My new Skinner barrel mount peep sight should be delivered late Monday. I'm an older guy and need all the sighting help I can get. Anyway, it's a pleasure to be here.
Site seems to be OK. Load issue should be resolved now.

I have one of those as well. Its a great choice for a levergun. 357 is fun to shoot in a lever. Just shot mine last Saturday. Shooting 38 special in that gun is like shooting a 22 on steroids just no recoil to even mention. Welcome to the forum from the Rockies. Al

Welcome to the forum. I thought I saw that same picture on another forum the other day.
I have switched several of my Henry's to the Skinner barrel mount rear sight - works much better for me.
