Hello from WY!
Hello from Cheyenne, WY! Just bought my first Henry-a beautiful .308 Long Ranger. What a peach! I just hope it shoots as well as it looks. Now if I can only figure out what to scope it with and the proper disassembly / cleaning procedures.

Welcome from Alberta. I love Wyoming, and spent some time there in 1983. Jackson Hole mostly but also Cheyenne and Laramie. Enjoy the forum.

Re: Hello from WY!
Welcome from S.W. Pa. Love the state you live in. Been out there 13 trips and sent a lot of bullets across the prairie in Thunder Basin shooting prairie dogs. Also did a good bit of shooting rock chucks up on the mountain above Ranchester, Wy. I think that is the name of the town at the bottom. Would love to live in the Cody area or any where in western Wyoming.

Welcome aboard from North Carolina! I picked up a Long Ranger last year too. Did yours come with the open sights? That's new for 2017. I missed the boat I guess. Henry listens to its customers!Tweet wrote:Hello from Cheyenne, WY! Just bought my first Henry-a beautiful .308 Long Ranger. What a peach! I just hope it shoots as well as it looks. Re: Hello from WY!
I too missed the boat. My pop loves my gun so is now waiting for the iron sighted model to come out in March. I am still debating on what to scope mine with. Looking hard at a 2.5 X 8 Leupold. We'll see!Gregorsway wrote:Welcome aboard from North Carolina! I picked up a Long Ranger last year too. Did yours come with the open sights? That's new for 2017. I missed the boat I guess.
