Just FNG intro

Just wanted say hello. Already learned things from scanning previous posts on many of the topics.
Bought 30/30 X to be able to retire my Dad's model 94 built in 48.
Right away I had some issues with the magazine tube very rough both loading from gate or dropping in magazine. Dressed with some wet/dry paper seems to help.
Since I see good things about customer service most of the time. I emailed Henry they replied that is not right and are sending me a new tube.
First impression heavier then Dad's 94 but won't be worried about it on the utv or the truck getting banged up also fiber sights lot easier to see.

Model X magazine tube update. Got new magazine tube from Henry. Works perfectly, but it's in the all weather finish. But for this gun's role as a tool probably will fix the color difference with a sharpie. Since Rice Lake ain't to far away so I am blaming the mix up on the early heatwave here in Northwestern Wisconsin and the Skeeter outbreak from #@!!.
