New to Henry in KY
While I don't actually have it in possession just yet, I did finally locate the BBS in .41 magnum I've been wanting, and hope to pick it up later this week. I've been a lever gun nut my entire life, but this will be my first Henry. I picked up a Ruger Blackhawk (3 screw) a couple of years back and really like the cartridge. The gun is begging for a matching caliber lever gun, and the Henry is my choice. I's a fine looking rifle for sure, smooth action and just in time for deer season this year.

Welcome from Maryland. The .41 mag is one of my favorites. I too have a three screw. Did a lot of hunting and shooting with that over the years. The .41 Henry sounds like a perfect match. Enjoy.

I'll be proud to show off the rifle and it's first deer, probably will take the first one that passes by.White Squirrel wrote:Welcome from Indiana, neighbor.

There's a lot of reading to do here I see. I'm pretty certain that these old eyes are going to require me to scope it, as bad as I hate to. Probably try out a peep sight first, as I have them on some of my other lever guns, and they work fine on paper targets. Thanks for the warm welcomes! Seems like a right friendly place.
