But nowhere else. Been a henry owner for about 2 years now I guess. I own one sadly, a BigBoy in 44mag/Spl with the 20" oct barrel. I like it alot though we had a very rocky start.
Been a firearm owner since dad gave me a Redhawk 357 for my 12th b-day. What a present huh? I stupifly talked him into letting me trade it in for a 44mag the next year. So you see, Ive been in love with the 44mg since I was a wee lad.
Im an Army vet and a lifelong firearm owner. Im also a lifelong
woodworker and currently make my living building wooden boats and ships. Yes, there are still wooden ships being built. Longest one I ever worked on was 82' long. To me, wooden boatbuilding is the pinnacle of woodworking. Im also a bowyer and a furniture maker. So as you see, I love wood. Im a wood addict. My wife just calls me a weirdo though.
Im a WV native and lived there until I joined the military and for quite a few years after getting out. Unfortunately we have landed in communist mary-land. I used to say behind the lines in mary-land but it seems most of our once great country is now considered to be behind the lines.
I knew there had to be a Henry forum and being that we live in this wonderfully modern age of technology about a 5 secind serch of the interweb confirmed my suspicions and here I am.

Welcome to the Henry Family. I'm also a woodworker and leatherworker, longtime shooter and former Marine. You'll have to post your ww pics in the hobby forum. Jump right in, ask questions, share, and post pics, we (I) like pics. Guns, cars, trucks, boats, whatever. (Kayak flyfisherman here.). It's a family, we might pick on you, but all in good fun. ( "You call THAT a fish, round here we use that size for bait." ) But, it's family.

Hey Bill. Welcome from Nebraska. I am fascinated at the idea of ship building with wood. That has to be satisfying. Enjoy your Henry.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Re: Newbie here
Welcome. And, congratulations on owning a Henry. You can only shoot one firearm at a time. So, one will work. I have one as well (H009). It is a nice piece of work. It looks nice, and shoot any brand of ammo that I have placed in it. I have looked at others. But, I have not bought on yet. Currently, I am not in the market for a rifle. Thought about a 45-70. But, time will tell.

Welcome aboard, fair warning tho. The administration here won’t take kindly to anything political. You’d think it’s safe here amongst open supporters of the 2nd Amendment but don’t comment on government.
