Hello from Central PA.
2022 has been a landmark year for me- in Jan. I made the decision to buy my first Henry, an H001 in 22 WMR. In Apr. I picked up the H012GM steel .357 mag. I had ordered in Feb. And in late May I picked up the rifles I ordered for my company's 15 year anniversary- we're recognizing employees that have been with the company since we opened in 2008.
I've always liked the look of the Henry's and finally decided to get my own, once we knew we were ordering the corporate editions for the company. I can't say enough good about my rifles- they are well made and balanced, and both shoot well out of the box. That, and I like what I see with Henry- a company that is unapologetically American and produces quality products.

Welcome to the forum from Michigan hope you enjoy it here. I too have and enjoy my 357 and H001. They are great rifles. I had a problem with my 357 but Henry stepped right up and had the problem fixed and the rifle back in my hands in one week. Love the lifetime warranty.

Hey Bruce. Welcome from Nebraska. Glad to hear you did the tribute editions. That's cool. Did you see that Henry contributed $50,000 to Tunnel 2 Towers? Great outfits, both. Enjoy your Henry's.

Thanks all for the welcome.
We've been using the 22 mag. on my son's trapline this past winter- a handier rifle than the bolt action we were using. Now I just need to put a sling on it...
I've had the 357 out 4-5 times so far, mainly shooting steel when we are clearing brush or doing trees. The 357 is nice- it handles whatever we feed it- 357's and 38's. Most of what I've shot so far is handloads- some jacketed and some cast. It hasn't choked once on any of the 38's. Also, no recoil and little report. I'm thinking of using it for whitetail in this year- I've hunted with 12 g. slugs since the '80's, and most of the deer I've taken have been within 100 feet. I'm thinking that a 180 grain JSP may be the ticket.
Travlin- Wyoming County, like most of up state PA is beautiful country. I've hunted fall turkey up there with friends in the past.
