Howdy from Virginia

Post by beasley2611 » Tue Apr 19, 2022 9:44 am

Old timer from Virginia. Picked up a steel .357 BB this week. Will give it a run tomorrow. Nice looking rifle. Definitely a keeper. Looking forward to future conversations.

Welcome to the forum family from a former central Virginian. Moved to Oklahoma shortly after I retired. Still have two kids in VA, but the one in OK became ill and mom wanted to get closer, and the son is in TX. It was time.

Jump in, post, ask questions, share anecdotes, post pics. It's a family, so there might be some good natured fun made, but nothing to worry over... We don't do that here.

When we got the hankering for saline, we used to kayak fish the lightline under HRBT, as well as Rudee Inlet and a few other choice locations. My father in law had a place in Mathews and we'd also fish Gwens Island and Kiptopeake now and then.

Mostly we'd fish the James River up our way for Smallies, or ponds and lakes for big largemouth... :D I like to flyfish. :)

Welcome from across the country here in Eastern Washington State. As stated, many of us shoot the Big Boy in 357 and it’s wonderful.
