Hello from the Republic of Texas

Post by mark2cars » Sun Mar 27, 2022 5:05 pm

Glad to find a group of folks that are interested in the Henry line of firearms. I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of a Henry H006. I will be exercising it out here in far West Texas on paper, varmints and possibly deer. I have SA revolvers in 45 colt so this rifle is a perfect match. I am also getting back into reloading and am looking forward to finding some "perfect" loads for it. The last lever action I owned was in 1966 so the Henry will be "a whole new world" for me. I hope to bring some knowledge to this forum and also to learn from the "Henry brain trust" here !!

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Welcome to the forum family. Jump right in, post, ask questions, share anecdotes, range reports, and pics... We (I) love pics. The rule is, no pics, it didn't happen. :D It really is like family here, we'll rag on your posts, but in a good natured way. "You call That a fish?"

Miss T and I are in central OK, but we have a daughter in southern OK on the TX border and a son in the DFW area. ;) (Plus two daughters back east.)
