Hello from TX! New to Henry and the Big Boy X in .357 mag

Post by Darryl Moore » Sun Nov 14, 2021 10:05 pm

Jumped onto the Henry bandwagon earlier this summer! Enjoying the Big Boy X in .357 mag at the local range when I can get it out of my son's hands. He's enjoying it more than I expected. No recoil and quiet to shoot. And, we both enjoy the lever action!

Love my 357. Hey Darryl, welcome from Nebraska. You might as well get another. Your son is smart.

Thanks Cofisher. I have only been up to NE once ... cold country up there. Visited area between Lincoln and Seward. Seemed to be plenty of deer up that way. Stay warm!

I have the 357 carbine Version up here in Oklahoma. Welcome to the family, post often, post pictures. It truly is the Henry family, we might pick on you, but all in good fun, like siblings at dinner. :D

Welcome from Washington State. 357 lever action rifles are probably the most fun you can have that doesn’t involve…..uh well, never mind. Great you found the X model, there’re pretty hard to find.

Check in with the Morning Coffee and Weather thread, it’s very interesting to see the difference weather conditions from other areas of the country. Sometimes the data is surprising such as today in’s 36 in N.C. But a balmy 50 here in Eastern Washington State. Just the opposite of what one would expect.

Welcome congrats on the 357 lever. Good choice for all around shooting and hunting for that matter. In two weeks Texas will be home for four months.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
