Yes that gun loving state
. I've to this point been in the shadows here and thought it time to say hello. I was out of the shooting scene for 35 years till my purchase of a Henry H001 Octagon barrel just over a year ago. Have added the large loop and a tang site and love it. So much so recently purchased the BBS Carbine in .357. Both are great rifles. Anyway, Hello all!

Welcome from the Shenandoah Valley, VA. This is a great site with good info and nice people. It can't be all that bad for gunners in Joorsay - I've got a couple of rifles I'm pretty fond of that have "Bayonne, NJ" stamped on the barrel....

Tractortad, Just because they are made here doesn't mean its a gun loving state, just have to be real careful and follow the gun laws 2 fold. Have been some real horror stories of late. Mandatory jail times. I do love my Henrys and got permission to shoot up in my back yard. Great view and great fun. Part of NJ where I am is very laid back.

Jon4ta - yea I hear ye. I was just kind of kidding. I have a brother-in-law who lives in the southern part of New Jersey who's a big gun collector (over 30 - including 5 ARs) and he's filled me in on whats been going on there. To me, it's sad - I hope Virginia isn't heading down the same path, but it's beginning to look that way. Sign of the times, I guess. Hopefully we'll be able to enjoy our Henrys for our lifetimes - but I am really beginning to wonder if our kids will have the same opportunity.
