Howdy from PA

Post by Llew Taranau » Tue Apr 20, 2021 9:12 am

Finally found what I was looking for (take that, Bono!), an engraved Silver Boy in .357. Liked it so much I drove 2-1/2 hrs each way to pay a lot of money for it. Anyway, new to Henry rifles and this forum, not new to noisily making holes in paper. Used to have a decent collection, but sold most of it--it's a long story--and wish I hadn't. Now I'm going for quality over quantity.

Long winded way of saying "Hello from Pittsburgh!"

Hello from Tennessee, congrats on the 357.
The 357 out of a rifle is a hoot, let us know when you get out to shoot it.

Welcome and congrats on the new 357. Hopefully soon some ammo will be around so we can ring more steel and make more noise

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

.357 Henrys have proven to be a "gateway gun" to many more Henrys, but they'll all meet your "quality vs. quantity" criteria.

Just get ready for managing the quantity!

Jake: Moved up here from Austin. Had to get used to seeing rain that falls vertically instead of sideways and accompanied by hail, tornadoes, etc. OTOH, no more going to the mailbox in shorts in Dec. 😁
