New from Virginia
Hello fellow Henry riflers -
I've been reading this forum for a few days and finally decided to join - looks like a good group who are knowledgeable, humorous , and cordial. I like that.
I recently bought my third Henry (Golden Boy). I also have a pair of big boys in 357 and 44. These things are addictive. Anyway, I'm retired a Navy Captain(30 yrs in subs) living in the Shenandoah Valley outside Lexington, VA.

Welcome from Pennsylvania and congratulations on the Golden Boy. I have spent time in Lexington and have stayed at a bed and breakfast in Steeles Tavern. I believe it was called Steeles Tavern Manor, just up the road from Lexington. That country is some of the most beautiful that I have ever had the pleasure to visit, skyline drive and Buena Vista included.

I rarely post here, but your kind description of the forum is just what I wanted to create.
Welcome Captain. Thank you.

Daytime Dave -
It is I who should be thanking you for setting up and developing this forum. I have learned more about Henry rifles in the past week than I have in over a year of owning/shooting my small collection of Henrys.
I don't know much about what it takes to start up a Henry Rifle Forum or how to maintain it and keep it safe from hackers, but I do know a thing or two about leadership. You and Sir Henry have formed the foundation and set the tone for this wonderful little group of Henry rifle enthusiasts. Where I come from, that is called "leading by example".
Well done.
