I am happy to be able to join the forum. I was able to find a BBS .357 yesterday and jumped on it as it was still under MSRP. I’ve been wanting one of these for quite a while. Over the last several year I’ve seen myself transitioning from bottom feeders to revolvers and with this purchase going from the AR platform to lever guns. They just hold more interest for me. I’m into target shooting primarily
Re: New Member from Indiana
Welcome to the forum. There is helpful information on revolvers and levers to be found here. Please feel free to post often, and provide pictures, we like pictures.

Welcome from Nebraska. Another steel 357 shooter here. Enjoy the site and your Henry.

welcome indeed .... delighted to have you join our forum .... thanks for adding your 357 to our community's total .... our BBS 357 is a family favorite and one heck of a shooter .... during my second career (in the RV industry) we spent considerable time in Indiana and it is a great state ..... most of our time was spent around Middlebury .... the Studebaker Museum, Auborn Cord Duesenberg Museum, RV Museum, College Hall of Fame are but a few of our favorites .... do hope you will be an active member who will jump into going conversations as well as to start other of your own .... will you be loading your own ammo ..

I will be reloading as much as possible. The pandemic caught off guard after moving into a new home and I ran out of primers fairly quickly. I haven’t seen any in months.JEBar wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 8:24 amwelcome indeed .... delighted to have you join our forum .... thanks for adding your 357 to our community's total .... our BBS 357 is a family favorite and one heck of a shooter .... during my second career (in the RV industry) we spent considerable time in Indiana and it is a great state ..... most of our time was spent around Middlebury .... the Studebaker Museum, Auborn Cord Duesenberg Museum, RV Museum, College Hall of Fame are but a few of our favorites .... do hope you will be an active member who will jump into going conversations as well as to start other of your own .... will you be loading your own ammo ....

Re: New Member from Indiana
understood on primers .... they are scarce indeed .... if you plan to load jacketed bullets, several of us have found Rose Distribution ====> http://www.rozedist.com/mm5/merchant.mv ... de=ZBJ-38S .... they make excellent range bullets

I lived in the Mountains of WNC for seven years, meeting my wife and having our kids there. We would love to move back someday but that’ll have to wait until retirement. We lived in both Haywood and Henderson countiesmarkiver54 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 10:18 amWelcome from Western North Carolina. Yet another BBS 357 owner here. Thank you everyone. I’ve been on the Indiana Gun Owners Forum for several years but don’t post that often. I think I have as many posts on here today as I do there for most of the year.
