Yes, about 45 minutes to one hour away but we have never officially met in person. My husband and I go through his town on our way to Flathead Lake. We usually take that route heading towards the Yaak region and make a cut off in Kalispell towards Libby.

I did see his vehicle at Cabela's in Missoula last winter (Logo on the door.) but I did not have him paged in the store to meet my husband and me! Ha. I noticed the sign logo but I don't remember the truck or suv now.

Every person that I know online loves his products too. He is a good man who makes good products.

He was on a forum that I no longer post on or read too.

I forgot that you grew up in Sanders County!

My dad worked building the Noxon dam so I knew the area before the backwater. We lived in both towns for awhile but most of the time we lived in a log cabin without running water or electricity. Well we did have running water, we had to run down to the river and get it.

I attended a two-room school. One for first, second and third graders, and the other for fourth, fifth, and sixth. We sat at large tables for lunch, prayer was said before we ate and the food was served family style. We would pass the food around and no one would eat till everyone had a full plate. The teacher sat on the end and while we could talk if you got out of line a strong arm would grab you out of your seat. You would be taken outside and would answer to a belt. Needless to say we behaved. Well usually we did.

Most of us were poor and not well feed so as soon as we got to school each day we were given milk and sometimes bread. At the end of the day we were given milk again and anything left over from lunch. Many of us carried a cup and spoon as the leftovers were often made into a soup.
