My journey to the forum was a little protracted, because I got banned twice. First, my e-mail was found not up to snuff... One of the members asked the moderator to approve me, and he did. But second, the ban for my home IP address remains in effect. It looks like this:
So, I can only visit sporadically, when I'm on the road in a McDonalds somewhere. I'm currently at an airport. Since I was approved, presumably I'm not ban-evading. Or so I hope!
Either way, the only Henry I have is a Homesteader! The next one I'm looking at is a rimfire. I haven't decided yet, but one of pump actions looks interesting.

Interesting. I think the pump is a good choice. It is a little stiff at first but will loosen up. Another to consider is the small game carbine. Two of my favorites.

Welcome.
I don't think you're being singled out. It's probably just the way the software security works but I don't really know

I remember approving you when another member appealed on your behalf. I'll try and unban your IP address. Please post here if it works or does not. I'll try and look here to make sure you are taken care of.
Welcome and I'm glad you are here. Let's see if I can make it better.

Welcome to the forum and sorry about the problems. The pump or lever are both good choices.

Re: New banned member from Austin, Texas, U.S.A.
Welcome aboard,
Unfortunately with the recent rise in unscrupulous scammers becoming more aggressive online we have to err on the side of caution more than we would like to. Most of the time we block the miscreants from getting in. But occasionally one of the good guys gets denied in the process. Usually it is due to the measures that more people are using to protect themselves from the same scammers online. Many of the VPNs and protected ISP/ emails are also used by the scammers to try to be undetected. That is why we have the appeal to admin option. Rarely does a scammer use that because they know they were caught trying to sneak in. We very rarely have to clean up after one of them crawls in under the wire. So most of the time we get it right you are the rare exception when we are over cautious. Welcome aboard, kick off your boots and make yourself at home. Unless your feet stink then please keep your boots on.
