Greetings From the Southwest

Post by XJP5 » Mon Sep 19, 2022 1:14 pm

New Member from Arizona. Learned about the Henry Forums due to my interest in the rifle platform. Looking for assistance in sourcing the following model (new). This will be my first Henry Lever-Action:

Henry Big Boy Color-Case Hardened Side Gate: Model H012GCC
20" Octagon Blued Steel
10 rounds (.44 Magnum/ .44 Special)
Link: https://www.henryusa.com/rifles/big-boy ... side-gate/

I've been searching for quite some time now, with no luck. Contacted many local dealers and have been told "none are available, and cannot place an order for one." Have also checked major online dealers such as Bud's, which I've ordered from in the past. Currently out of stock on Model H012GCC.

If any members know of a dealer with this model in stock, I would appreciate the leads. Contacted Henry customer support some time ago, but never received a response, which was a bit disappointing, but I'm sure they are short-handed, like everyone else these days.

Thank you,
XJP5

Hello and welcome aboard from way over here in central W TN.
Haven't seen any of those around here, but will keep an open.

Welcome. Not a Henry, but it is a .44. Not familiar with the brand (Citadel). Looks like a Winchester knockoff: https://grabagun.com/firearms/rifles/le ... ounds.html

Stick to your guns XJ. Welcome from Nebraska. I totally agree with your choice. Hope you find it.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Welcome from Western North Carolina!
That is a relatively new model offering, so that might have a bit to do with the trouble finding it. Nice choice though. Wish I had a 44 Mag. Just not in the cards right now.
Good luck with your search...enjoy the forum!
