Welcome. California is where I purchased my first firearm: a S&W .357 mod. 65 in 89, still have it. As I recall, it was a cool off period then. But, I did enjoy San Diego, when I was there. It was a nice place to visit. Thought about buying a townhouse. However, things did not line up. Nonetheless, hope you have fun with your Henry!
