This recipe is very popular at the home brewing forum I belong to. These tasty morsels are really good when washed down with an ice cold malt beverage of your choice.
Atomic Buffalo Turds
Jalapeno peppers
Lil' smokeys (cocktail wieners will do in a pinch)
Cream cheese, softened
Garlic powder
Hot sauce (Louisiana sauce, Frank's Red Hot, Texas Pete's...)
Garlic powder
Bacon
Slice peppers in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes. Stir some garlic powder and hot sauce into the cream cheese. Spread some of the mixture into each pepper half. Place a smokey into one half of each pepper, and put the two halves of each pepper back together. Wrap each pepper with 1/4 to 1/3 of a strip of bacon (depending on the size of the peppers and how much you like bacon). Skewer with a toothpick. Grill over a hot fire until bacon is cooked, turning as necessary. Wash down with plenty of cold beer. Send wife an kids to the mother-in-law, as they will not want to be around you the next day.
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry
