Oh yeah, on the half shell.
Couple dozen right now.
Go good with this cold beverage.

There was a episode of "Man vs. Food" where he ate 12 dozen on the half shell. I love oysters (prefer them cooked but will eat them raw), but think I'd have to give up long before eating 144 of them.

No way I could eat that blame many.
I like 'em and all, but I'd be full long before that.

with a pretty good size seafood family get together on tap for Sunday afternoon, we tested our new, smaller oyster pan .....we bought it to use with our Holland Companion grill and it fit just fine .... would really like to have a couple of them but there simply isn't room .... did learn a few things .... positioning of the pan on the cooking grate can/does have an influence on how hot the pan gets, which has a direct influence on how quickly we can poach the oysters .... really looking forward to seeing how it goes because we have a second seafood gathering scheduled for Wednesday of next week with long time friends

Exactly...like us. Just got home from grocery shopping and brought home a dozen bag of raw ones.
Only takes me about 10 minutes to shuck them....lemon, tabasco and some warm gourmet cheese rolls.
Yum....!!!
