love the time of year when farm raised ripened on the vine tomatoes are available at our local Farmer's Market .... its a wonderful to have single slices that are larger than the bread .... 8-)

If you want to make them special use a couple slices of some nice fresh bakery French or Italian bread.

I can't eat that stuff anymore, but it sure makes a great sandwich.
