Pellet Grilled Corn On The Cob

Post by JEBar » Wed May 11, 2022 7:08 pm

back during our catering days we routinely grilled hundreds of ears of corn on the cob .... this afternoon we did so, per this link, , in our Davy Crockett pellet grill/smoker ===> https://greenmountaingrills.com/recipes ... -corn-cob/ .... doing so really turned out good

Lots of butter, salt & pepper and I'm good with that! 😁

Reminds me of years ago when I lived in the Chicago area. We loved going to Elkhart Lake Wisconsin to "Road America" races.
They had a tent where they cooked corn on the cob. They would pull back the husk, then plunge it into a vat of butter. Then, give it to you with large shakers of salt and pepper on the table. It was awesome!

Our local grocery store every summer sells a corn on the cob called Brentwood. It is awesome.

How long and at what temp do you smoke that corn in the husk?

soak the ears of corn, still in the husk, in salt water (we left ours in for several hours) ... grill for 1 hour (turning at midway) at 350
