Strawberry Pie

one of the true pleasures of spring for those of us lucky enough to live close to Porter's Farm is their fresh berries in a pie .... they have growing outstanding strawberries and tomatoes down to an art ... truly outstanding ...

That pie looked so delicious, brings back memories of when my mom made them, think I’ll go to town and buy some strawberries and try making one, thanks JEBAr!

The grapes are great this time of year as well. Just picked up another bag of red seedless and already ate almost half of them. Must admit, these are from Chile though.
The pie looks spectacular!

Tina made us one the other day after I showed her your pics. She made whipped cream with cream right from the cow. Yummy. Now for blackberry cobbler.
