Late to the party but we had grilled 2โ€ thick New York steaks and my wifeโ€™s fantastic twice baked potatoes. It was great! :D

Havenโ€™t thought about tonight but last night we had grilled New York steaks, baked potatoes, salad and apple turnovers with vanilla ice cream for desert.

Red beans, rice, & ham. Corn bread. My wife cooked this from scratch every Jan1st for 50 years. Unfortunately, I don't have her cooking skills and it's just me now, so I do the best I can with Zatarains beans and rice mix.

There were turnip greens, boiled cabbage, and stewed potatoes.
Was good, too... ;)
